I received the promotional code for the free set of lingerie from Adore Me via email before my VoxBox shipped. I spent some time shopping around on their site, which was easy to navigate, checking out all the different items they offered. It was hard to decide on just one set but I finally made up my mind and went with a cute white lace matching bra & panties set priced at $39.95. They offer free shipping & free unlimited exchanges on all orders so once I applied my promo code, my total magically went from a nickle away from $40 to $0.00 (exactly the numbers I like to see when shopping). I didn't have to wait long before my set arrived in my mailbox and it was packed in a cute box with pink & red tissue paper. The wording on the outside "Hello, Adorable!" made me smile. I absolutely love the material and design plus the fit of the bra is spot on. I'm not too crazy about the panties because I thought they would fit a little differently but for a special occasion, they will be perfect. The quality of the items are what I would expect from a lingerie boutique and I can see myself ordering from them again.
Years ago, I used to whiten my teeth a LOT. A person's smile is the first thing I notice so I've always wanted my teeth to always be clean and white. Oh boy, were they white... so white they were blinding. Okay, just kidding but they were pretty and I was very happy with my smile. Little did I know what those whitening strips were doing to my teeth. The more I used them, the more sensitive my teeth got; to the point where my teeth felt so fragile, almost like glass, so I had to stop using them. Over the years, I've try a few different strips when I got a free sample in the mail, but they did the same as the others. I've tried the whitening pens too but they didn't quite give me the "white" I wanted to achieve so I was very excited to give the Colgate Optic White a try.
I didn't like the consistency of the toothpaste (was a little runny) and I could taste the peroxide but I didn't feel any pain so those are minor issues that I can definitely live with in order to get back my pearly white.
The toothbrush bristles are not too firm and not too soft; they're just right for me. I rally like how they've designed the Whitening Pen so it can be stored right in the handle of the toothbrush. That makes it easy to access so I can actually use it the 2x per day as recommended. All it takes is 2 clicks for my upper teeth and 2 for my lower teeth so it takes no time at all. The gel goes on easy with no mess and it doesn't leave that gross taste in your mouth like the strips do. I only experienced very mild sensitivity on one of my teeth which I admit was a shock. I thought for sure I would be crying in pain but nope, that minor twang was it.
